Prof. Yuli Chen🎓︎ Beihang University, China Yuli Chen is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Beihang University, China, and a recipient of the National Leading Talents program. She received her Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanics from Beihang University in 2003, and her Ph.D. in Solid Mechanics from Tsinghua University in 2008. From 2008 to 2011, she conducted postdoctoral research at The Ohio State University, USA. She joined Beihang University in 2011, became a Doctoral Supervisor in 2015, and was promoted to Full Professor in 2016. Her research focuses on multi-scale mechanics of composite materials and design of novel material structures. She has published over 70 SCI-indexed papers in high-impact international journals including the Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids (JMPS), International Journal of Plasticity (Int J Plast), Advanced Materials (Adv Mater), and Composites Science and Technology (Compos Sci Technol). Prof. Liming Yang🎓︎ Beihang University, China Liming Yang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China. He is a recipient of the National Young Talent Program and a Specially Appointed Professor of Jiangsu Province. His research focuses on computational methods for fluid dynamics and their applications, including multiscale/multiphysics coupling methods across flow regimes, multiphase flows and fluid-structure interaction algorithms, as well as machine learning and quantum computing. He has published over 100 SCI-indexed papers in leading fluid dynamics journals such as the Journal of Computational Physics, Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Chinese Journal of Aeronautics, Physics of Fluids, and Physical Review E, and has authored 2 English monographs.
